ACCOUNTABILITY

Transparency and Accountability
Community Futures Shuswap believes in open, ethical and transparent communication. Every effort is taken to ensure that confidentiality is assured and that information shared with our team is protected. It is our goal as a regional service provider to ensure that each client is well supported and treated with respect and transparency and that all communities within the Shuswap are served with equal care and consideration.
Community Futures Shuswap is committed to providing exceptional customer care. If you believe the service or treatment you have received is unacceptable, you have the right to make a formal complaint.
To submit a formal complaint, please follow this process:
-
Submit your complaint in writing to the Executive Director. If your complaint concerns the Executive Director, submit it to the Chair of the Board of Directors.
-
Your complaint will be reviewed within one week of receipt. The Executive Director or Board Chair will respond and initiate a resolution process, if required.
-
Unresolved complaints will be referred to the Board. If the Executive Director cannot resolve your complaint in a timely manner, they will refer it to the Board of Directors for consideration and further action.
The Board of Directors meets monthly. If your complaint requires consideration by the full Board, you can expect a response within six weeks of the date your complaint was first received.
The Board of Directors accepts complaints and service concerns in writing only; it does not accept verbal complaints.
