I moved to the beautiful Shuswap in 1993 from Ontario, taking the position of Head Coach of the Sicamous Figure Skating Club.    I am happily married, and we have two adult sons.   We have been living in Blind Bay since 1994.

Currently,  I am the Programs and Volunteer Coordinator for Shuswap Hospice Society.  I have been in this role since March 2019.    I am also into my third year as the Alternate Director for Area C with the CSRD.   Previously to my role with Hospice, I spent 11 years as the Annual Giving Coordinator (Revenue Development) for the Canadian Cancer Society.

I have also spent time on the board for Special Olympics as their Program Development Coordinator for 3 years.   I am also a member of Shuswap Women Who Wine, which is an amazing networking group of women, committed to fundraising for many different projects in the area.
