An Update from the Shuswap Labour Market Assessment & Action Planning Team

A huge thank you to all community members who have thus far participated in the Shuswap Labour Market Assessment (SLMA) project! A quick recap: Community Futures Shuswap is the SLMA Project Holder. Ironsight Business Strategies has been contracted to coordinate the research collection and analysis, as well as facilitate the community meetings. From the six participating communities (Adams Lake, Little Shuswap Lake, Neskonlith & Splatsin Indian Bands, CSRD Area C & Salmon Arm) over 500 surveys and 80 individual interviews were collected. We have endeavoured to scan a wide spectrum of participants, to ensure that a full, collective voice will be heard through the data collected. Community
